  This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I recently moved back to the area after being away for 5 years and was very disappointed with how much this restaurant has gone downhill. Most of the time, our chips have been burnt which kind of ruins one of the best aspects of eating at a Mexican restaurant. The food doesn't taste as good, but the worst thing now is the service. The wait staff seems more interested in sitting around and socializing than doing their job. I have not been in when it's been crowded yet it still takes a long time to be seated, to get chips and salsa, to get drinks, and to place an order. One particular time this happened to us, we complained to the owner and our waitress acted like a pouty teenager and didn't speak to us when she brought out our food, more drink, ticket, etc. I sincerely hope that some improvements can be made to salvage this headland favorite.
